APRIL 15 DEADLINE FOR FILING PROPERTY TAX RENDITIONS
Roberto Valdez, Chief Appraiser, Uvalde County Appraisal District, reminds business owners that property renditions must be filed with the appraisal district no later than April 15, 2017. By written request, the deadline may be extended to May 15.
Business owners and operators are required by law to render any tangible personal property that is held or used to produce income as of January 1st, of each year, such as furniture, fixtures, machinery, equipment, vehicles, and inventory. State laws impose penalties for late renditions.
In January, Uvalde County Appraisal District mailed out approximately 1,336 personal property renditions. If your business did not receive a form, contact the appraisal district office.
